Health and Wellness Fair Comes to Ajax

 Durham Mental Health Services in partnership with Seamless Care Pharmacy is pleased to present a Health and Wellness Fair on Thursday, May 6 from 2:00 – 6:00pm at the Ajax Legion (111 Hunt Street, Ajax). 

 There will be booth displays, presentations, and demonstrations from local health care providers, community agencies, and local businesses including: Catholic Family Services of Durham, Durham Hospice, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada, Kerry Place Autism Services, Mary Kay Canada, Northern Lights Vocational Services, and Service Canada.

 Krista Bull, the event organizer and a Program Coordinator with Durham Mental Health Services says “This Health and Wellness Fair is all about feeling good and functioning to our full capacity. We are very excited to bring together diverse agencies, businesses and health care providers so that attendees can learn many ways to promote their own health and wellness.”

Mohammed Younis, Vice President of Operations at Seamless Care Pharmacy says, “Pharmacies are an important health service for many people but they are just one of many health resources. We are delighted to sponsor an educational event like this where people can explore a wide array of resources for achieving total health and wellness.”
